I pay my health care premiums out of my own pay check. In other words I get paid then my employer subtracts my premium from my paycheck. can I deduct these premiums from my taxes?

As an employee you can only deduct them if the total of all your medical expenses exceeds 7.5% of your adjusted gross income and you file a Schedule A.

If you pay your health care premiums pre-tax, no.
As your premium is not part of your taxable income.
If you pay the premium after taxes, yes. But it must be at least or more than 7.5% of your AGI.
