CFCs do react with ozone, but the ozone layer has not been depleted, it is alive and well. The theory has been proven wrong, that is why the environmentalists say global warming now.

ozone depleters have all been banned. CFCs aren't used anymore.

ozone is created by harmful UV rays reacting with oxygen high up in the atmosphere. As long as the sun has UV rays, there will be ozone.

Like the other person saidn it hasn't been depleted it has just shifted to areas with more sunlight. Ozone's chemical equation is o3. When thay sun's rays hit the ozone it splits into o2 and o1 later the oxygen recombines creating more ozone. Since the poles don't recieve as much sulight as the equater the ozone shifts to the more tropical regions.
