"Science" and "Technology" made us believe that the earth was flat, and the "center of the universe".

What else has science "proved" for us, huh?
Science just proves that while humans are somewhat smart, our Heavenly Father aka God is WAY WAY WAY smarter!!
So don't try and pull that 'science proves ..." theory, its a joke.
Why don't you pray and ask God yourself? You can get the answer straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.

Mormons are Christians first.
Latter Day Saint ( Mormon ) is simply one of many organized religions. Really they are no different than say Catholic, or Jewish.
People have long desired to discredit the LDS Religion simply because of how it was founded.
They have a mountain of trouble with the fact that Joseph Smith went off into the woods (as it were) and prayed to find a religion that he could get behind.
The answer came to him, that there was no religion better than another, so he sought to bring about the Mormon Religion.
The Book Of Mormon is not now, nor was it ever, a "Mormon Bible" The Mormons read the King James version of the Holy Bible. The Book of Mormon is simply a journal/history of the religion.
I've often wondered why the Mormons are such a target for the totally non-believing population.

Yes we are considered christian somewhat.

Don't listen to justaskdon. He obviously hasn't really researched, just skimmed probably, the Book of Mormon. he probably didn't know that the second coming will be in Misery (the state.)

Because that is where the garden of Eden was. Found that out while researching the Book of Mormon.
The answer to your question is, scientists make up a bunch of crud in order to have a logical answer. It is hard to explain, but how can you believe that scientists actually think we came from monkeys?!?
visit (www.lds.org) or (www.mormon.org) and you will find better answers than i can give you.

For a non Mormon to comment on our belief is ridiculus, they sound more of an expert than us, that is a laugh.

Religion and science to most christian, they do not mix, so your implication to use science to disprove LDS belief is questionable.

It seems that no matter how many time we say we believe in Christ, there is always someone say we are not, and worst yet, the non-mormon is more creditable than we are, doesn't that sound irrational.

So forgive me for being so direct, just do not bother us with this question again, just believe in your idea of God, and let us worship ours, fair enough???

Last I heard there were some people trying to flood out the jungles in Belize where the ruins of Lamanai are located. Whenever I refer people to read about archaeological finds cited by non-Mormons, I never hear from them again. Why do you suppose that is? If the name of Jesus Christ is in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, doesn't that just seem pretty obvious that we are Christians? If we pray to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, doesn't that make us Christians? If we believe and preach of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I would think that would make us Christian. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

They are sort of Christian. However, the Book of Mormon (in my opinion) is such obvious B.S. that you'd have to find other reasons to life the LDS faith. Intellectually, it has no cheese on its cracker.

They are not Christians at all!
they believe Jesus is the brother of the satan and Jesus Cheated satan to become who HE IS !

Their "research center" is a house of "justification".
Paintings are passed of as photographs, etc..

There still are NO COINS found from the history described in the Book of Mormon. No cities Found! NOTHING!

It is a CULT! Plain and simple!
