Where did people come up with this "right to life" crap? Where in the world does life have a right to keep going?

Have you ever seen the nature channel when that sweet babie Antelope gets chomped in half by that Alligator hiding in the river? Didn't someone tell God and nature and that alligator that the Antelope had a "right to life"? Life is murdered and visciously killed every day in nature. Why doesn't bacteria have a right to life? Shouldn't detergents and soaps be outlawed?

Or is it only Human life that matters? Only HUMANS have a right to live? It certainly seems that way, because we humans have been eating other living creatures since the beginning of man or time or whatever you believe... the stories the same.. man eats meat! Man kills life. The universe is indifferent to life. In fact, if anything, the universe is set up to kill all life, as evident by the fact that nothing lives forever! Sanctity of life,.....give me a break.

actually i agree with you we always take away life from another species and nothing is wrong but when we kill one of us its not OK also i don't know why people call it sick when a human eats another human they call it cannibalism but when we eat an animal its called"food" and thats what pretty much life really is about survival of the fittest and i agree sanctiity of life is bull
and i like the things native americans did with animals at least didn't waste them like we did all animals should be treated with respect as well as us

The bible is clear in it's teachings here. Man was given dominion over the earth. We are charged with being a good steward of what we have been given.

As to the "right to life". The debate here does get relatively interesting, as you say above, however is the Alligator not also asserting his right to life by eating the Antelope?

Something for you to think about. We are a fallen creation. In order for us to survive, things have to die. I believe that this system is a reminder of our culpability. The world (for the believer) just didn't happen this way. It was Adam and Eve bringing sin into the world that changed it.

From the biggest animal to the smallest bug, they all have the right to live, just as we do.

We eat meat to survive, just as animals do in the wild.

All creatures on earth should be treated with respect, just as mother earth should be treated. Without all the animals, we'd die 2. We need them

Hmmm... I'm not sure I like where that logic would lead.

Not everything that is natural is good for us. I don't want my kids getting eaten by wild predators and I don't care how natural it is!

This is an... unusual pro-choice argument. Perhaps you should consider why its called the pro-choice camp rather than say 'pro-death', which you seem to be!

Your answer suggests that killing people and eating them is acceptable since it is all just part of the circle of life.

Sorry to burst your bubble but humans are held to a higher standard than the animal world because they have wisdom and knowledge that surpasses that of animals.

So are you saying that murder is ok? Please tell me that you do not rationally support the fact that we have a right to kill whomever we want whenever we want.

Survival of the fittest. I'm not gonna complain when we get invaded by an unknown species. Either suck it up and fight, or cease to exist.

So, is it OK with you if we feed you to the lion at the zoo, then? He looks hungry.

It certainly didn't come from the Bible. God kills, and commands killing, more people (and animals) than any other being ever.
