everyone has a certain amount of candida in their mouths, digestive tract, and so forth, but if you get an overgrowth of it, that can be the white stuff on your tongue. just try this to see if it helps okay? for 3 days, eat at least 3 containers of yogurt. and be sure you get the kind that has live, active yogurt cultures in it. and you can get whatever flavors you like, just eat at least 3 a day, for 3 days. if your white stuff is going away, it's candida over growth, and you just need to continue eating the yogurt and get it all cleared up.
sometimes the body's chemistry just gets messed up, and this happens. it can be from taking antibiotics too.
but give the yogurt a try and it will probably clear up in a few days. if not, see your doctor.
Best Wishes!

If you have a patches or a coating of white on your tongue that doesn't brush off, you may have a candidiasis infection. If you go to the doctor's and that is in fact what you have, be sure to change your toothbrush after you take your antibiotics.

If it's none of these things, try brushing your tongue with your toothbrush with toothpaste on it. And, yes, the bacteria on your tongue, in your mouth and at the back of your throat is what causes bad breath.
