"Master" implies ownership of something, and is an out-dated form of expression. As for "Mr." that depends on who you ask. For example, you can be 6 years old and be called 'Mister' at a private school for boys

master is used only until about the age of 16 or 18. not many use that term anymore.older people will sometimes use it when addressing mail and such and at one time it was used to address young men at schools, private schools mostly, but i haven't heard it since my 20 yr old was small. its cute though. i think it gives little boys a feeling of importance.
