Make some brownie points with the boss or the office manager, and ask about the dress code. they may want you to wear scrubs, or dress office business.
If it is scrubs, ask what the office color is, unless you are surrounded by it, in which case, duh. Never wear the ones with the cartoon characters, and if their is no specified color choice, keep to one or two colors, like a navy pants and a white top. Very professional.
Good luck with your new job!
Otherwise, office professional is what you want. Darker colors, no more than two at a time, dress slacks, skirt, solid color dress. No sweaters, no fussy anything, no low cut anything, comfortable but stylish shoes, conservative jewelry, nothing dangly. Conservative hair, preferably up off of your face, and conservative makeup.
Believe it or not, the receptionist's appearance sets the tone for the patients experience in the office. If you look like a professional, it will relieve some of the stress for the patient.
Let's speak bluntly. This is a urologist's office, the clientel will be mostly male.
They are facing an embarrasing examination, and might possibly be facing a surgery that could render certain nerves in a certain appendage useless. The last thing they need to see is a sexy receptionist, to remind them that very soon, they will not be able to... And the not being able to...is a common malady in a urologists office. So be compassionate, and leave the red sweater and lipstick at home.
Hope this helps.

I wouldn't wear anything to revealing. It would be kind of unseemly in a urologists office. Just dress professionally - pantsuits or long skirts or slacks and blouses. Best of luck with your new job!

Slacks and a button up blouse and closed toe shoes. High heels are acceptable but wear flat shoes; your ankles will thank you!

You want to wear something that you are comfortable wearing, but at the same time you want to have a sense of professionalism.

It depends on how much he/she pays you. A suit, or a skirt, slacks and a blouse. No shorts of jeans.
