Generally, the 'darker' the chocolate is, the better it is for you, because it has natural 'anti-oxidants' that can help get you and keep you HEALTHY ... but it is the 'additives' that make it 'very bad for you' ... so 'milk chocolate' which is more FAT than real dark chocolate, and 'sweetened' chocolate are far worse for you than plain, unsweetened dark chocolate. The 'higher the percentage of Cacao' the better it is, but LOOK AT HOW MUCH SUGAR IS IN IT, because sometimes it 'tastes good' only because there has been 'way too much sugar added' to make it 'more palatable.'

I always joke "it's good for your soul!" which, you know, is true.

Dark chocolate is good for you, in moderation (chocolate is high in calories and fat which, obviously, you should monitor), because it is a rich source of the flavonoids epicatechin and gallic acid, which are thought to possess cardioprotective properties (good for your heart!). Cocoa possesses a significant antioxidant action, protecting against LDL oxidation, perhaps more than other polyphenol antioxidant-rich foods and beverages.

All in all, dark chocolate will make a healthy snack in moderation but there are other things far healthier for you that taste good and have greater heart/health benefits.

Dark chocolate is good for you in moderation..The higher the coco content the better...Rumour has it, if your eat two to four squares a half hour before a meal, you won't eat as much and it also increases your metabolism....Now, the sad thing is milk chocolate is not so good for you....which is sad because that is my fav....it is not so good for you because it has less coco and more sugar.. enjoy....oh, I heard this on oprah....

Almost anything in moderation is good for you. I've heard that dark chocolate is better for you than milk chocolate.

It's not good for you if you eat to much of it. But study's show that a little bit of chocolate everyday is good for you! =)

Anything in excess is bad for you. It depends on how the chocolate you eat is made.

Don't worry, chocolate won't give you pimples, contradictory to popular belief.

Yes, chocolate is an aphrodisiac, so it gives you higher levels of endorphins, which improve your mood. However, it is also stocked up with sugar, so if you don't want cottage cheese thighs and cellulite, then eat dark chocolate (it's better for you), and eat it in moderation.

I hope i helped!
