Make up a list of questions you want to know about her. Her taste in music, food, favorite color, favorite four movies. What her favorite scripture is in the bible? then pray you both share some common ground you can widen into a great and sharing relationship.

Ok let me give u a womans point of view. Do not call her sexy u are in church for goodness sakes. She is a church girl so do not make any sudden moves. Just act yourself do not put on a front girls hate that. Be nice open the door for her pay her way in. Buy her some popcorn and a drink or whatever she likes. Just act like friends. Do not let the date get boring if you talk like friends then that helps u both not to be nervous. Do not try anything on the first date. Just stay calm. Then when you take her home give her a friendly kiss on the cheek and say thanks I had a really good time tonight I hope we can do this again soon, but only say it if you mean it. who knows you might decide you do not like her. Goodluck to you!

This is sooo cool. You sound like a really cool young man. Of course you're going to be nervous but take a deep breath and the next time you see her see what kind of movie she wants to see and plan a time to see it. Make sure it is not on a school night and that the movie gets over at an appropriate time. Don't be afraid to ask mom or dad to drop you off and pick you up. Be a gentleman because first impressions really do count. Good Luck my young friend!

Hey, I'm a 'mom' and have raised three boys and a girl, and I say that you are doing 'just fine' the way you are doing it. Next time you see her, have the name of a movie and the times you could go see it, and ask if there's anything else that she'd like to see with you even better ... and HANG IN THERE because you've got a 'long way to go' before you can be a 'old married person' like me and my husband are ... but you are DOING JUST FINE ... and I'm glad you 'met her in church' because that gives you both a 'better place to start' than many 'couples' in this world of ours.

Just remember she is as nervous as you. Maybe ask for her number so u can give her a call to make arrangements. Before u call have a list of topics u can talk about
1. Date time movie
2. Did you go away over xmas
3. What do u get upto on the weekends
Hope it goes well

Hey, I know exactly how you feel. You feel nervous, yet at the same time you want to dare to say more to this girl. I am a girl, and judging from myself, in the situation of your girlfriend I would feel flattered that a guy asked me out. I encourage you to keep talking to her, especially at church, and tell her how you feel, because she will feel the exact same way.

My tip is this, introduce yourself to the parent(s). If all goes well there, all should be easy as they talk to there daughter about you. This will build up confidence all the way around. One thing that bothers me though, a bit, you said she was sexy? Whats that got to do with it? Church? Uh.....

even if you are so damn nervous you have to play it cool. seriously, you don't want to scare her off with your nerves because more than likely she will be nervous as well. that's a given, but just talk to her (I'm unclear with what you wrote whether or not you two are dating or still in the process of getting together). if you are still in the process of getting hooked up, try to bring it up and hopefully you get a clear cut answer whether you two are gonna date and if you are dating then just act loving and caring but always try to keep your nerves under control. trust me, the wait is always more nerve-wrecking then when she is actually in front of you. just be calm and it will all go well, just approach her and begin talking to her. it will be easy.

just act like she's just a female friend of yours and everything will go well... don't talk too much about u guys dating because it is a church youth group and dating + church = disaster. just act cool and she'll see how cool you are.
