My puppy(she's a girl), is 7 months old, she is acting all tired, sleeping, and making accidents, more than usual(she does not act like this normally). Her vet was saying that between the ages of 6 months to 1 year, she might start menstrating. Is she starting her period?

It could be that. I would have a urine test taken, she may have a bladder infection.

Dog's don't have "periods" like humans have. A female dog will go into "heat" twice a year, which is the only time that they are fertile. This is also the time when you'll have every male dog in the neighborhood on your lawn, acting kinda like men at a strip bar.

What you describe is probably a bladder infection. Take her to the vet ASAP.

When you're at the vet, as about getting your pet "fixed". You'll never regret it.

it sounds to me that she is getting ready to go into heat.between the ages of 6 months to 1 year that is what starts to take place,so it will be about the time that she should get spayed in order for her to live a long life.

If you are not a breeder, consider getting your pup spayed.

I had a dog literally break in to my house through a window to get to my female lab. It was heartbreaking...
