No, It's not a bad deal. I had six wisdom teeth removed. Two on the bottom, and four on top..I had two baby teeth on the top of my wisdom teeth. I had a lot more room in my mouth afterwords. I was put to sleep, I had a friend who was awake. Have a good day!

I was put to sleep. I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth that had to be cut out. It would have been such a big deal not to be under general anesthetic. I was in a lot of pain after wards.

You can get put to sleep, but they don't have to. I'm gettig my wisdom teeth pulled soon and they are going to put me under IV sedation. I will be awake, but totally unaware of everything around me. The dentist said that they rarely put people out anymore.

no, you don't need to be put to sleep when you have your wisdom tooth taken out. you will only be given an oral local anesthetic. it won't hurt at all coz there is a topical lidocaine (anesthetic) that they use, they rub it on your gums so that when they inject the local lidocaine, you won't have any pain at all. it's no big deal, it's just like any tooth extraction. trust your dentist.

You should most definitely not smoke weed. The doctors can handle the pain-killing department; all you need to do is relax. They know what they're doing.
