I mean for the time between putting the drops in.

I know some medications say that you shouldn't wear them, but I want to know WHY

Some products stick to the lens and never come off. This could affect how clearly you see out of them, it could compromise the lens (ruin it and therefore it could harm your eyes by it weakening or drying out or ripping etc.) so it's not a good idea to use eyedrops unless your eyedoctor has approved them for use with your contacts, or some OTC products may say they are safe for contacts.

Every time you apply any ointment or eye drops to your eyes while wearing contact lenses it is imperative that you read your medication's directions on attached leaflet. Usually they will instruct if contact lenses should be removed before starting a treatment or if it safe wearing them.

The drops can effect the ability of the contact lense to stay moist,therefore causing the lense to dry causing irritation.

It may gett all smeared, and vision becomes distorted.
