I prefer frostwire. Similar to Limewire, but without the baggage.

Hi there,
Here you can find a good place where to download Limewire: http://bit.ly/1p34rCT

I love Limewire and I'm an avid user. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. you should get limewire too. It's a good peer to peer software if you have to download mp3, movies, videos or file.
Limewire is a safe and reliable program but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. You always have to be cautious about what you download.
Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.
It's surely the leader program of its type
Hope it helps.

After the Grokster loss in court, RIAA sent the heavy lawyer scum thuggies over to Limewire to extort concessions, like blockers, and maybe, trackers.

So, the FREE Open Source Software developers offshore re-wrote Limewire Pro. Hosted off shore, Frostwire lives! No blockers, no trackers, no $150,000 fine per song! You know the words to add.

Or, http://pclinuxos.com has it embedded for LiveCDrom running.

Torrents, Emule, and DC++/Direct Connect

Torrents are direct, and if seeded, fastest. Emule is best for obscure/rare files. DC++ is kind of in between, but is culturally a bit more similar to IRC, the original internet chat protocol, where people used to swap files. (which still exists, BTW). That is to say, it's more strict about how much you have to share, and less impersonal.

Torrents, Emule, and DC++/Direct connect Torrents are direct, and if seeded, quickest. Emule is ultimate for obscure/uncommon data. DC++ is almost in between, yet is culturally slightly greater equivalent to IRC, the unique internet chat protocol, the place human beings used to swap data. I use Shareaza. It's free, open source, and has absolutely no spyware

Just search for it by name
