If you mean a puncture would it will bleed, direct pressure and guaze. If you mean pinch or a tramatic injury it will swell and probably cause a hematoma(blood pooling) which will need to be lanced by a doctor, use ice for a pinch

If you hit a vein in your lip, presumably you mean a punch or a bump into something type injury, you can expect it to swell incredibly into a big blue black mass. You would need to ice it and go see a Dr if it is too turgid.sometimes they need lancing to get rid of the old blood collected in to tissue. If it is an open wound...it will bleed like crazy and need an ice pack on it and a swift trip to a Dr.

are you asking if you BIT a vein in your lip?...very hard to do...the lip has many surface capillaries that when bitten, bleed. Even if you did manage to get a vein, it will stop bleeding with direct pressure and ice.
