Orange sliced in small bits are okay in occasion. They will not enhance the coloration of goldfish is the thing. The only real way to enhance/optimize a goldfish's color is to provide exceptional water quality, a varied diet and keeping the temperature in the 60F - 72F range. Goldfish like to nibble on a slice of orange floating on the surface of a tank. Orange should only be offered once a week and should be removed after about 5 minutes in the tank.
