will getting this tattoo hurt?

i wanna get a tattoo on my lower back like on top of my bottom lol and i just wanted to know if it hurts getting it in that area i want something like this: http://customtattoos.net/D525.jpg

All tattoos hurt, and I know for a fact that the lower back one hurts like a b****. But, just to let you know, those type of tattoos put there are considered to many as a "tramp stamp". You should really consider doing something else somewhere else. The only reason I have mine where it is, is because it's a memorial tattoo for my father who passed away in 04'. And it was the only place that would fit what I wanted on my body. I hope my answer helped.

I also have a memorial type tat on my upper lower back..if that makes any sense. Nobody sees my tattoo unless I show them. That area of the body is painful to be tattoo'd. Its bad, it vibrates your entire spine, and then the outer edges are very painful, as it reaches to your sides. It is not unbearable pain, otherwise so many people wouldnt have them. Good Luck

It shouldn't. I have one in that area and it's pretty good size. It all depends on your pain tolerance. I fell asleep when I got mine done. By the way, cool tattoo!

don't do it.
i have tattoos, i love tattoos but i hate tribal style tattoos on people who have no heritage that has a tradition of tribal tattoos. is there nothing in your life that means something that you could get tattooed? i think it is a mistake to get tribal. my tattoo artist won't even DO tribal.

uhm mine didn't hurt. but when it was on the spine i felt it more and when he got lower toward my butt. i felt it more. but i wouldn't say it hurt.
