I have short dark blond kind of course hair, and every time I go for a (expensive or cheap) cut they butcher my hair. I think I am ready to give up and just let it grow out, but I am looking for advice on how to deal with the transition hair. Also any good websites with medium-short hair style pics?

Just get clips to put your hair up with while you are letting it grow out. That's what I did and it didn't look bad at all.

why don't you just ask someone, like family or a friend and if you don't have any of those than ask next door, if you your not to ashamed or prideful ask someone on the street that has a style you like. If none of that works than start a web-site devoted to local hair shops and have people rate them. And then it mite take a wile but you find a local shop that you will got to for life. Good Luck either way!

i imagine you should bypass to the keep and get a clean hair decrease or fix up ur hair with those machines. end blaming human beings isn't use. you should start up eating ingredients that's strong for you hair like some vegetable or some thing. For some reason i do not use any conditioner or some thing yet my hair continues to be shinny and advantageous xD. i imagine you should bypass to keep and ask Em' to do some thing about ur hair and also at the same time eat clean food and vegetable :)

Take a picture of the cut that you want with you.
Also once you find someone you like stay with them
A hairdresser that is one that you personally like is hard to find

http://www.clairol.com/security/login.jsp?dest=/try-it-on-studio/process_tios.jsp®loc=tios

try that, you can upload your pics and try on different hairstyles. if the link doesn't work just go to clairol.com and search for the "try it on studio". from there you can try on different hairstyles. you'll have to make up a username but it only takes a minute. good luck! :-)
