i have candeled my ears for years now and sometimes i get yellow powder and sometimes i get long orange pieces of wax. which is from your ear?

Probably none of it. Try sticking an ear candle into a hole drilled in a piece of wood and see what you get. Make a judgment based on that. I had someone do an ear candle on me once and from what we saw half of my brains should have been sucked out. I don't think that was the case. On the other hand, hummm...

We use ear candles on my son. I couldn't believe the large amount of brown wax came out of his ears. I have burned one just to see what happens when it's not in an ear. It just has yellowy powder in it then which makes sense because they are dipped in beeswax. I truly believe all of the brown stuff that we get is wax out of his ears.

none of it s/b from your ears, there's insufficient pressure to remove earwax (which is good, the earwax serves a purpose to prevent infection). the wax is from the candle.
