I'm naturally blonde, and I tried to dye the top of my hair red, but it ended up pink. I really want it to come out. I just dyed it about a week ago, and i really want to know how long it will take to come out. My bf wants it back blonde too because he misses my blonde hair. What gets the semi-permanent dye out quicker?

Bizarrely, when I dyed my hair red with a permanent dye, it faded within a week. When I didn't want to be bothered by roots so used a 10-12 wash semi-permanent red dye - lo and behold 6 months later I still have red hair (faded with the help of a brown semi) - what's THAT all about?! Unfortunately it's either go to a hairdresser and have them help you out, or wait until you have shampooed it enough (hopefully you'll have better luck than me on that front!). I wouldn't be brave enough to try a home remedy myself - but that could be just because I'm really bad at it...! Good luck (o:

i have blond hair as well and i once dyed the bottom of my hair pink with one of those extreme semi-perment dyes from walmart and as soon as i did it i knew i made a mistake and wanted it out immediately so i went to my local salon and asked if there was anything that i could do... and i will tell you what they told me, only time will make it truly go away but if i wanted to i could wait about 4 weeks and then come back and they would try to strip my hair and wait another 2 weeks and they would try to bleach my hair and take it back to it's "normal colour." well, i did as they said and it worked but it does take alittle time.

Multiple hair washings, and maybe you could get some blonde hair dye to put over it. I would go ask a hair dresser what to do.

definite, it does. It only skill this isn't any longer as possibly to bathe out. UV rays will nonetheless reason it to vanish swifter than brown or black. Blonde needless to say does not fade, it only gets lighter. the terrific subject you're able to do is save a hat on once you're out, or stay out of the solar. once you're a solar man or woman, this is gonna fade. try a 'for colored hair' shampoo and conditioner, like L'oreal colour Vive. It worked for me. in addition they produce different colour-specific shampoo and conditioner issues out, that the two upload somewhat colour each and every time you wash or upload UV secure practices each and every time you wash.

get a home bleaching kit and follow instruction but instead of mixing the full quantity of peroxide dilute it with shampoo its less harsh on the hair! shampoo into red area. if this doesnt work then go to a hair salon
