Physical abuse is any contact f/ one person to another that results in fear or harm. Whether pushing, grabbing, throwing things at, hitting w/ another object or hitting w/ open fist or closed. It's causes are sometimes environment, and some scientists believe it's genetic. The effects are numerous and long-lasting. Children who experience it may grow to abuse, whether they are abused or see their parent abused. Most definitely the abused loses self-esteem, and self-respect. They are usually afraid to leave the abuser b/c they are afraid of the consequences. And I imagine the abuser experiences some kind of righteousness in their actions, though I would hope they also felt some kind of shame as well.

Physical abuse is when any person harms another person with intent to inflict pain as a punishment for real or imagined misconduct as defined by the perpetrator. It is caused by the need to control the other person and if they will not without violence then they will after the violence. Its effects are both physical and emotional in the victim they may feel scared, they may be in pain, they may be bleeding, there are many levels of its harm. Emotional, physical, all aspects of the victims life is controlled by someone whose does not have thier best interest at heart.

Physical abuse is when man/woman in a relationship beats the other up i.e. punch, kick,slap,stab,burn,strangle..

Causes could be alcohol,supressed anger, unable to control aggression, mostly to be in control of the other person most women give their husband a second chance when they do this he will say Im so so sorry it wil never happen again please forgive me... yeh it wont happen again till next time...

Some women put up with it for years because they are to scared to leave as he will say if you leave I,ll find you and kill you, or if you try to leave i,ll kill you and beats up her to make this point..

Its effects are scarring fear of getting involved with another man if they do get away also mental torture they scars never heal..
the kids also suffer most men beat on them too..

domestic violence is totally unacceptible and the offender should get a lenghty jail term. if you did this to a stranger it would be GBH and you would get a sentence is this discriminating against people the law is wrong..

Over here in Britain we have a campaign to highlight domestic violence it advises you to call the police he will be charged and he will also be removed from the home the campaign is called Zero Tolorance..

No-one should have to put up with this sort of treatment its disgusting and the offender is nothing but a domineering bully..

Physical abuse is hitting another,whereas mental or emotional abuse is putting another down. There are battered relationships which are not healthy and only lead to destruction.
