All cells in the human body are able to regenerate except for nerve cells -- brain and spinal (that's why stem cell reasearch is so important and controversial). This includes muscle cells (how do you think body builders get their muscles so big?), skin cells (a human body actually grows completely new skin like every month), and so on.
While it may not regenerate, such as growing back a new arm, cells will continue to allow a human being to grow until death.

Skin cannot grow back, remember there are only 7 layers. When your skin breaks, the next layer slowly comes up, so it does not 'grow' back. Just be aware of that. Also, if you count boogie as a body-part, that grows back, also. A liquid in your stomach that melts your food, called polystyrene acid increases every time it gets out (throwing up) by melting down the little parts inside your stomach to become the acid as one.
That's why when you throw up sometimes, your stomach hurts a little. Also, sometimes if a mole is shaved off, and it contains cancer, it will grow back. And, your cells can grow back, all except for nerve cells, the kind that make up our outside body-parts, such as the arm and leg. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Skin and all types of cells beside nerve cells grow back too. When you get a cut don't you notice that you start to heal? That means that your skin is regenerating and healing the wound which means the skin is growing back. Cells are produced each day and everyone loses a lot of cells but grows back even more.

EVERYTHING in the bosdy can regenerate ...escept nerve cells.which is why paralysis is permanent. the body is an amazing thing and can heal itself and protect itself. any kind of living tissue or cell wil regrow. but the speed is what makes up the difference.. even bones are completely replaced every 6 months to a year. nothing in your body is permanent except nervous tissue and ...in women.the number of eggs you have
