Because the dog gets very excited and plays rough back with you. Dog normally bite each other a bit when play fighting, sometimes they get over enthusiastic.

The rougher you are, the rougher he will be. To teach him his how to be gentle with his mouth, immediately upon biting you, pull your hand away and say "OUCH" loudly. That will startle him. Do that every time he bites too hard. He will soon learn that if he is gentle, you keep playing and you are happy.
I have done this with all 4 of my dogs and it worked great. I got the idea from watching the Sirius Puppy Training video.

He is treating you like another puppy. Its like when two young boys wrestle they play around until it gets rough finally one hits the other then playing stops.

It is the dog's nature. It is being aggressive, because you are playing rough with it. Or whoof with it.

That's easy. He ,she does not appreciate it. Nice pets deserve better. If that doesn't make you happy. Get your self a pet alligator. You will have much more fun, and when he grows up. He will enjoy the play even more. (;-}
