Snowflake babies are born from leftover frozen embryos from in vitro fertilization. But if the soul enters the the body at conception then these babies' souls must have been frozen in suspended animation until they were implanted?

Christians, please explain...
thanks

There has been much discussion as to *when* the soul enters the body and not all agree. Some say conception (most disagree with this) and some as late as three months after birth. Most of those who agree that a soul *does* enter a body agree that the soul itself chooses whether or not to enter while still in the womb or to wait until birth or later. As far as those snowflake babies, I'm thinking no soul is going to choose to enter the arctic condition!

snowflake babies" –- babies born from previously frozen embryos that were adopted:

A recent study by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and the RAND Corp. found that nearly 400,000 embryos are kept in cryogenic freezers in U.S. fertility clinics. The vast majority of them are intended for future use by couples, the study found, but nearly 20,000 are earmarked for destruction in one way or another, while more than 9,000 are potentially available for adoption.

Yes they do. All life is precious to God. It is people that put a false value on things.
"I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave" -Job 10:19
Job expresses something that is true, and primal.
You could argue all day about souls, but one can not argue that life is present, and thats the point.

I suppose they must. if you believe embryos have souls.
I'm half/half on that one. but once the cells are unfroze then the souls must be unfroze.

I think it souns better as snowflake babies have sleepy souls. much cuter. 'frozen soul' sounds insulting, I thought this was going to be something racial

If a person is in a coma, do they still not live? What about people who are in a vegatative state. Are they not alive? Of course they have souls. Mans intervention doesn't change the way God made us! If God says we have a soul at conception, then we do! The sick ways man tries to pretend to be God doesn't change this fact.

Snowflake babies? LOL that sounds like a white joke. (I'm white btw- it just sounds funny)

Good point... Considering that real memory starts at about 2 years old, I would think that if there was a soul, it would start with memory and language...

People have souls... I don't understand what your point is. There is no time when a person doesn't have a soul... Conception happens or there cannot be a child. Twins are biological clones... They have souls...

Jeez. If this really stumps you, then quit reading and go shopping.

God brings that into existence ---the souls would be with God -and as cells come together(to form life) God breathes(like He did with Adam etc) into each one and they become a living soul.... my theory

There is no such thing as a "soul".

Pro-Life Agnostic:

Life is all there is, and there is almost certainly nothing after, therefore, denying life to any homo-sapien organism, no matter what inconvient stage of celluar division it may exist in, is essentially a crime, on par with everything else we consider to be crime.
