God is all powerful, and He can do anything He wants. The intriguing question would be, "If God can change history, how would we ever know?"

You have to take a realistic view of this.
Christians would have you believe that God can do everything and wouldn't that be wonderful if it was true. Now people pray for relatives to be cured from hideous diseases or for sick children to recover. Say prayers over dead bodies so their souls enter heaven and even pray for rain. Let me assure you from my own observations as a medico that I have never witnessed any miracles by a God in saving any patient that prayers have been offered up to God to reverse their illness. Yet people continue to follow this fruitless pursuit. Why you would ask?
It is in their nature, they need Faith to survive and understand the mysteries of the Universe and the other unexplained things like our very existence. The real truth may be too much for them to maintain their sanity. Imagine the Psychiatric explosions that would occur if a visitation by aliens occurred. These same people would consider it a visitation from Satan. This is the simplistic thinking they have been brainwashed into believing. They would Rush out pray and then try to murder these invaders . Americans would be tight at the forefront followed very closely by The Vatican who would be immediately plotting ways to capitalize on the matter to bolster their position as Princes of the Church. They would call all religions to take up arms and destroy the soldiers of Satan.
NO God can not change history, history is written and is the past, only man distorts the truth of history to save face and make his own mistakes look less threatening to his own groups.
Only Man can change or work towards the change of attitudes for the future. God is a myth.. no one has seen God, even fewer have heard him. Moses was I think the last to hear him speak and even that is in contention. Moses was possibly a borderline schizophrenic.

The Creator's appointed God for a time over an area has a job to do. He hopes and intends to do all the good possible. He has legions of angels to help do it. There is a kind of weather going on there and here which either makes mortals and spirits more bad or more good. It must be compensated for. He wants no personal credit. He wants to change improve history for the good of all others. Can he change history? Sometimes yes with help. Sometimes not.

Not even he can change what has passed but then again why would he. The secret is to change the present which leads to a better future. Leave the past alone. It is past.
Yesterday is gone and tomorrow has not yet begun. Today is a gift, that why we call it the present.

No, what happened, happened. Why would God want to change it. There would be no purpose. History speaks about God's glory from the beginning of time.

If God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipresent, perfect and holy, than no because what ever happened the first time could not be improved for the sake of the world and the glory of God.

History cannot be changed. God could do it theoretically, but that is unimportant, because that is not the way He does things.

History is and always will be a work in process, and God is always acting on our behalf when we cry out to him.
