Legal immigrants don't need amnesty. I don't possibly see granting illegal immigrants amnesty. That would be absurd! To do such a thing would only invite more to come here hoping for amnesty. There are just too many people against this for it to happen, I hope! This must be someones pipe dream. I can see nothing more harmful to this country than to give amnesty to approximately 20 million illegals!

They keep talking about it but it is such a hot issue that they will hopefully chicken out and do nothing.

They are afraid for their jobs since MOST Americans are against Amnesty. Notice how they don't even call it that. It is a Guest worker program, not amnesty (even though that's what it is.)

As someone mentioned in the state of the union address Bush said we need to implement a guest worker program but with no amnesty.
And when he said it he looked right at the camera and said it emphatically and Nancy Pelosi stood up and clapped.
I think no amnesty.

why do you think of the placement demands illegals to have the main appropriate to amnesty. Yeah that got here about in 1986 we additionally tore down the berlin wall. Granting amnesty to illegals allowed it to ensue. 20 years later we've over populated jails through unlawful, drug trafficking between our usa and theirs through fact we cant enforce or regulations on them, each city the place illegals are congregating in plenty are going bankrupt through over populated faculties, underfunded social courses and crime. so why dont we enable in greater lol. it fairly is the back lash of what ronnie did and if he substitute into alive i guess he might sense that granting amnesty substitute right into a mistake seeing what it has finished to this usa now. right this is the version between Obama and Ronald Reagan, Reagan did not be conscious of what might ensue Obama does he has greater then 20 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to work out the faults of granting amnesty whilst reagan did not.

It is amazing to me that Bush has not read or anyone else apparently has read the temporary work procedure that already exist in the Immigration laws now. Why is this not being used and we are having another procedure for something we already have. If someone wants to know the procedure go to the site of the INS. We have a law already.

Not true. Bush stated no amnesty. There will be reform but I think that it's a stretch to call reform amnesty. Not the same at all because it will most likely involve fines, fees, back taxes, and criminal background checks.

They're motive is moeny purely and simply, if it was just to leave their country they would setlle in German, France Belgium or the other upteen countries they have crossed to get to this "sacred cow" the way this government is bent and inefficient, just look at the bloody Home Office.

Economic migration is the root of all future evil, if you dont like your home country tough, I'm sorry it's very sad you are poor but live with the cards you have been dealt don't cheat to change it!
