Well, um as long as you don't dwell in the past like 24/7 but a few hours a day is ok. It could actually be good for you if you had good memories doing it in the past. Like doing what you do of what you did in the past. Lol, I hope that makes sense. I do things like that too but it's very important that we must not live in the past but just to reminance.

I think it's nice to recall childhood days. I have a lot of memories from those long ago days and I enjoy thinking about them. However, I'm much more involved with what I will be doing today, tomorrow, and in the future.

I love thinking about GOOD Childhood memories, like movies or games that I played and who I played or watched them with or songs on the radio that I hear that remind me of fun things in my life. It reminds me of being youthful again.

Off the top of my head... nope, I'd say this isn't dangerous. In fact, recalling events is healthy and normal - it's called memories.

Now, if these are events that are traumatic and revisiting them causes you distress, then you might want to reconsider why you are doing it and whether there is any benefit to it.

Just my humble opinion.

No not at all! It is good to look back at your past as it helps you understand your future! Look at it like this. You need to burn yourself to learn when things are hot! See what I mean.....you learn from your past which influences your future! And remember our memories are shadows of our past! Sorry I have been working on the memory for the past few years in my art work, fancinating subject. Look at Sigmund Freud!

The answer is yes and no. Yes, if you dwell on the negative aspects and it impacts negatively on your current life and relationships. No, it is not dangerous, if you really have pleasant things to remember, and especially to pass those lovely thoughts on to your children.
