A domestic shorthair (DSH). Most cats are not any specific breed, most are just mutts or mixes...called DSH's. Unless you got your cat from a breeder and spent lots of money on it, it is just a regular cat. I have a cat with the same coloring. Some cats that have specific colors are called different things...for example: cats with black, orange, and white markings are calicos, with just black and orange are tortoiseshells, striped black and tan cats are called Tabbies, etc., etc. I think someone refered to your cat as a "Tuxedo", this would be to describe his colors, but not his breed.

Probably a domestic short hair tuxedo. A domestic short hair is your basic average cat and the tuxedo describes his markings or pattern. For example..I have 2 Tabby's. A tabby is a cat with stripes or swirl markings on the body and most of them have the classic "M" on their forehead. One is orange and one is grey but they are both domestic short hair cats.

well, he sounds like a ferrel (wild) or just a little black and white mixed breed kitty. Sound very cute, I like the way you described his nose! You can also look at the Cat Fanciers website and look at photos of kitties. Enjoy him!

You cat is a domestic short hair which means of no identifiable breed.
If it is a lean cat with a square head may have oriental or siamese.
Lean with round head - burmese or tonkinese
Large round cat with round face could be british short hair

"Tabby" is actually a color. I'd call him a Domestic Short Hair (DSH).. or DLH (Long Hair). Unless they are really exotic looking, they are usually just common cats of mixed breeding.

this is not a tabby, it sounds like a tuxedo. No breed, just regular old housecat, which are the best kind!
