this girl and i have been friends for over a semester now. the other night she came over to my room and we made out/ groped. we have been really good friends until this point and have been flirting for the past few weeks. later on in the week, we went out and partied together and danced together for a large amount of the time. she also danced with other guys and flirts with them as well. over the past few days, she has hardly wanted to talk. whats going on? is she interested in a relationship? any advice?

She's probably waiting for you to "seal the deal"...in other words, you probably haven't given her any signs that you're interested in a "relationship"...is my guess. Has she gone off "groping" with any of the other dudes? If so, she may be looking a boyfriend, any boyfriend since you haven't staked your claim. Women, go figure?

Mmmm, it doesn't really sound like she's interested in a relationship. At most, she just wants to fool around.
Best thing to do is give her a call and ask her what's up. Ask her why she hasn't wanted to talk (it's possible she found someone she likes better, but I doubt she'd tell you if that was the case) and then discern from her answer what she really means...aka, is she telling the truth or is this answer code for something else.
Then hit us back on answers and we'll give you further advice.

sounds like she may need a chance (after spending so much time with you) to think about the way she was around you and if that's what she really wants at this point in her life. i would just back off completely and give her time to make up her own mind. there's no sense in forcing the issue because in the end it won't make any of you happy and may even destroy your friendship. after waiting awhile she will probably come around and thats when you need to sit her down and have a conversation about how both of you feel about each other. if she doesn't come around then its not meant to be.

I don't believe she's interested in a relationship right now - seems like she wants you for that moment and that's it, nothing more. I say continue being friends with this one, if you pursue it, she may end up breaking your heart.

She may be feeling that she made a mistake and doesn't want to risk losing your friendship. It sounds like she wants to back off, or get you too, but I may be wrong.

i think that maybe she likes you, but know that she does, she's gotten a little nervous around you. its happend to me this summer. we made out for a long time, and went to a huge party together. but as i found myself liking him more and more, i started getting more shy around him, and didnt talk to him as much. id say, just keep trying to talk to her, she'll come around

She just wants fun, and gets validation from being someone who people want to be with.
When she wants to be with you, push her away, keep her at a distance. be a challenge.
