What do you think the names for Windows will be 5 years from now? It went from 95 to 98 to ME and 2000 to XP to Vista

You left out Windows NT and 3.1...or all the previous versions to 3.1.
Who cares? Windows sucks balls. Use Linux instead. Not only is it better, but it's also free. Maybe the next version of Windows will be Window Pain, a descriptive play on words.

5 years from now it will be Vista. WinXP has been on the market for 5 years. There is no competition to microsoft. So it will be a long time before they make another one. Probably another strange name.

its still gunna be vista, cus xp has been around for 6 years as its primary OS.
i think linux is fast, thats y im putting it on a usb to run at my schools laptops so i wont be blocked by fukcin lightspeed and dont have to constantly use proxy servers.

Actually, windows is in the process of dying. The reason is still sloppy programming at microsuck.
Widows will be replaced by open source operating systems.
