dice up some potatoes and add to your soup or put in a can of white beans(do not drain) both of these will help calm the heat and pretty tasty in soup. Sometimes adding a splash of milk will help. I prefer the first two solutions

Try putting in some sugar and boiling a whole potato in it. The starchy potato will absorb the salt and heat from the hot rotel. Good luck.

Sugar is generally used to cut the heat in soups, sauces, and other liquids. Put some in a bowl and add a teaspoon of sugar at a time and see if it alters the taste enough to be edible, and still taste good. If so, go ahead and "repair" the entire pot.

Try adding a little bit of sugar, it combats the heat as well as tones down the acidity. If that doesnt work, try stirring in some sour cream or cheese. Dairy products help lower the heat factor in foods.

hmmmmm, you could try some cornflour mixed in very carefully and slowly, but that might thicken it too much.another option is to try some natural/no-flavour yogurt.im not too familiar with rotel stuff but generally if its a sweet-heat (?) balance it with something like bitter yoghurt and vice versa
