Well, go knock on the new guy's door & when his mom answers, ask her could you move in. That'll solve your distance problem! But my heart goes out to your current boyfriend, because it looks like he didn't do anything to deserve this. I'm not usually this sarcastic, but you really need to think about your actions, before you decide what you're gonna do. Because what happens a year from now, if you find yourself outta love, because this guy refuses to move outta his mom's basement?? You'll wish you had stayed with the boyfriend you have now!

The infatuation has worn off, so date, but be honest, do it without deceit. There is nothing wrong with what IS. It's OK to say what you think or feel, because it's real. Doesn't mean others will want to hear it, but the truth is the truth and better for all in the long run.

I think the difference between infatuation and love is time. In time love stands and turns out to be much more then , passion & chemistry. Respect , compromise and even realistic expectations and acceptance of difference will all be part of long term "love".

Keep in mind that definitions of "love" vary widely.

It's obvious that you're ready to move on from the current BF. Over time, some relationships just don't work out. Do the right thing and end the relationship with the current guy before starting with the new one. If they are both "really nice" they deseve that.
Have you considered getting your own place closer to the new guy?

Well if your not happy then you need to leave him. If you do not want to move home then you will need to make it on your own, because if you leave your current bf i doubt he wants you living with him. Or you can choose to find a place with the new guy but it's probably to fast if you just met him. But whatever you choose be sure you make the right desicion, if you choose to leave current bf Im sure he will not take you back.

Well the good thing about your situation is that you are not married and you are not legally bonded to anyone...secondly if you want to see this other guy the best thing to do is to let your boyfriend know where things stand and how you feel about your relationship....the worst thing you could do is cheat :(...So what I say is go for what you know....do the honorable thing and break it off......

sounds like you are looking for a way to get out of this relationship with your boyfriend...
maybe just take a breather from both for awhile so you can get your head and heart together...

you should really get to know the other guy first and if you really think you don't have feelings for your boyfriend at all, then i say love can make anything happen
