French Dressing is more like Catalina. Thousand island is like the special sauce from Big Macs.

Thousand Island dressing has pickle relish in it.
French Dressing doesn't.

No it isn't the same. Thousand island is creamy and to me it had a slightly different flavor. I don't know what is in thousand island so I don't know why it is different I just know it is.

They are different but if you only have french dressing you could add a bit of mayonaise and some pickle relish and the product would be similar.

no, french doesn't have the chopped vegetables or the citrus kick in it.

french and russian are similar
