I was told there was a form to fill out if you got 2 w-2's from the same employer, one with the incorrect SS# and one with the corrected SS#. Does anyone know the form to fill out?

I would call your HR and both the SS and the IRS , and notify them that someone elses SS# is on one of your W2s.
Keep notes with the names of the people and they shoud each tell you what to do.
I would also copy the wrong W2 and write on there that is not your correct #, and what your correct # is.
Then I would fax it to HR & SS & the IRS.

By the way, was there anyone else in your company with your same name / common name ? Like bob Smith or Jane Brown ?

It's up to your employer to provide a correct copy of Form W2. Take this up with your employer; they're the only ones who can fix this type of error.

ask your wmployer for a "corrected" w-2, this will void the previous w-2's
