I had an Indian driver's license in 1991, but never used it. I plan on driving when I return to India to visit. How can I find out if it has expired and if so, how can I go about renewing it?

It has undoubtedly expired by now, but you will need to contact the official department of motor vehicles in India... you also may be able to get a temporary license for the duration of your stay. Contact the DMV in whatever region, provice, etc. you plan to visit; you can search online to find their contact info. Hope this helped.
