would the texas rangers be able to try to locate a runaway teen from another state if they were given a specific city in texas where she might be at?

no, i'm not a runaway. runaway's dont usually have computer access. long story, but i'm this runaway's dad, and this kid is bad news.

They might be able to do it. See if you can contact them at the Northeast Texas regional office of the Texas Department of Public Safety, located in Garland, Texas. The telephone number for their criminal intelligence division is 214-861-2000. Explain the situation to them, and If that is not within their purview, then they can probably route you to the proper authorities here in Texas who can help.

The rangers are a state investigative agency. Normally, they are not going to be involved in a runaway case unless there are more serious issues involved. Local police, Sheriff departments, and highway patrol will be the ones actively looking for runaways.

I/d assume you are the runaway. The Texas Rangers are law enforcement-correct? think about it. You run away-you are breaking the status law that makes you a minor. It means-until you are legal-they can chase you. Good thing they gave a crap huh?

Yes they can but if you know the specific city why not call the local police, they'll do it a lot quicker.
