Every individual seems to have what he/she is looking for as a sign of genuine affection. This signs depends on personality and it is mostly something that the person cannot really say, it lies in the subconcious. Yet some people meet and both just give the expected signs to each other that it makes the whole idea of love so simple and beautiful while most people live their entire life never getting to feel that immense satisfaction derivred in finding one who will give them the sign they are looking for, and they reciprocate in a way that just makes things perfect... you know, start a beautiful love affair. Some people eventually find the one that gives them the sign they are looking for but they themselves find that they are unable to reciprocate so that the person that they have found does not feel the same. The love felt cannot be reciprocated.
Under this circumstances, what is the probability that the feeling could ever be mutual? Why does everything suddenly become elusive?

The are four types of love:

The kind you speak of - Romantic love.
The kind shared between families - Family love.
The kind shared between friends - Friend love.
The kind that moves you to help a grandma across the street. - A general love. Agape.

Considering this, is it really reasonable to say that love could never be mutual? If this is the case, are you implying that in every friendship only one person really loves the other? Or that in every family, one person does not feel his gestures are being returned? If good deeds are still being done around the world, is love really elusive?

The truth is that love still exists. It's just cooled off, sadly. People find loving themselves more interesting than loving others. But even so - not everyone is like that.

Wow- im not sure if i even understand the question. Ultimately , i think you cannot force things- you either have the feelings or you dont. Dont get me wrong,,, ive been friends with someone first and then liked them as more than friends a few months later. I just mean that i think if its meant to be- it'll happen. There are some people that you just CANNOT stop thinking of. I think that people have an energy... and when you meet someone that for you- they give you part of their energy and you really feel it- and its amazing. Im sounding a bit crazy-lol- but ive had that feeling before. On the other hand... there are some people that drain you of your energy- those people you need to stay away from. Theres a book i read many years ago- i think its called "celestial prophecy"- i thought it was amazing. Well- i probably didnt answer any part of your question- ha(sorry)! ;)

I can't give you much advice about that. But it alwys helps to have an "exit strategy" as well. Once you find love, there is no guarantee it will last. Here's a song I always keep ready for the occasion:

I get to see you one last time
There's something on my mind
How do I say what needs to be said?
The words are hard to find

How about :

Bi*tch, gimme my money
I want my money and I want it fast
Hey bi*tch, gimme my money
Else I'm 'bout to take it outcho a$s

Cause the world sucks, and we all all human. AKA humans are stupid, confused, and weak. No matter what others think of them there is some wrong to be found.
