depends on the kind. Theres glue in, braid in, and fusion.. glue is the cheapest way. If done properly they only damange hair very little. Glue in usually last about 2weeks and is the weakest. it can come out if shampooed to ruff or even brushing, combing the hair. braid in and probably the best method. they stay a lil longer than glue, and pretty easy to maintain.. you limited in your styles but as long as your gentle with your head you'll be fine.. now fusion is VERY EXPENSIVE about $1500 last alot longer than others and is mildly easy to maintain! you actaully have to be more careful not to pull these out than the others.. hope this helps

I don't think so. I've seen people with extensions looking really well-groomed one day and their hair in chaos the next. That's why I think the extensions that are a bit messy-looking to begin with are the most effective. As for them totally ruining your hair... some of these famous people such as Carol Vorderman and Naomi Campbell seem to manage, not that I would ever suggest NC was any sort of role model.

I positioned on them and it relies upon on your hair coloration, and in case your hair is layered. Your hair desires to be layered! to grant it the organic look! Clips are somewhat substantive, yet now and again I have a tendency to tease my hair crown and then comb it over for a fuller volumunous look with the extentions :) every time im with someone and pull a clip out.. they get so surprises like"Whoah i did not understand you wore extentions! exceptionally with men. Its humorous :DD

Hair extentions ruin what hair you have. They are so tight they pull the real hair out, root and all.

they are easy to maintain,but they do ruin your own hair,im still growing the short bits out where the extentions were attached and pull my own hair out and i got them taken out 8 months ago,stick with growng your own hair,i needed special shampoo/conditioner and brush with mine and it cost quite a bit.

No..... hair extensions are hard to look after!!!! they take allot of TLC... and redone every 3/4 months!!! and if they are not done by a very experienced person they are agony!!!
some even leave bald patches!!!

no they make ur hair horrible and they look all ratty after a while ! just get clip in 1 they look amazing
