There is no basic training for Marines there, in fact, I don't think there is any basic training there, am I correct. Is this guy a liar? Thanks!

he wont go to fort bragg, thats army base, he will end up in dan diego or perris island depending is he is west coast or east... lier!

BIG lie. There are only 2 boot camps / basic training locations for Marines. Paris Island, SC in the east, and San Diego, CA in the West. Training also runs 13 weeks, not 11.

He is lying. Fort Bragg is an Army base that does not have any kind of basic training there unless something has changed.
Marine recruits go to Parris Island, SC or San Diego, CA for boot camp. No where else.

Fort Bragg isn't a Marine base and they don't have basic training there. Fort Bragg is an Army Base for Airborne.

There is no basic training at Ft. Bragg. First Ft. Bragg is an Army post not a Marine post. I believe the closest Marine boot camp it Camp Laguine (?spelling)

Marine boot camp is in San Diego in CA or Parris Island on the east coast. I was at Fort Bragg a couple of years ago. I think they have the Skunk Train up there but there are hardly any bases left in California most of them are closed down. I had a relative train at Camp Pendelton when he was in the Army but I dont' think that exists anymore either.

Ft. Bragg has Army boot....NOT MARINE. And Marine Corps boot is 13 weeks long. Marine Corps boot is in either San Diego for those west of the Mississippi River and Parris Island for those East of the Mississippi.

Usually if you are going for Marine training it's in Camp Pendleton in San Diego California....my husband was a Marine and every Marine I know went there!

Yes he's a lair. Ft. Benning is the Armies training base, San Diego and Parris Island are the Marines training bases.....

This is an army base, and yes there is basic training ,my son was stationed there for almost two years, Bragg is the home of the 82nd airborne, so no I don't think your guy is a liar..
