really your only opition is to start coloring it. there are color enhancing shampoos that may make a small difference. also you can try squeezing lemon juice in your hair before you go out in the sun then lay out for a few hours with it in your hair. These will result in very small difference but may help if getting hair color isn't a choice.

Good question, the answer that is more clear to me is no, I can't get mine to look like it did when I was younger. My hair use to be a blond almost white, but it has turned darker, it's still blond, but no longer an unimaginable blond anymore. I always thought it was cause I was in a car accident, but I guess not. OF course you could always get highlights back to your childhood color, or just dye your hair lighter.

I've heard of applying lemon juice and then sitting in the sun...But I have no idea if it'd really work. I'd say some subtle highlights would be your best option...

Sunlight. I notice that in the winter my hair darkens, but the more I'm at the lake/outside when it's sunny it lightens back up. =]
