Not bad...you are both legal. Enjoy the experience but don't rush into anything.

Ummm...the age difference is not a bad thing if you were 28 and he were 39, or if you were 38 and he were 49, or if you were 48 and he were 59, so on and so forth.

He's lived some life after high school.

You still may or may not be out of your parents house, and may or may not be still a virgin.

This age difference, your age difference is, I am afraid questionable.

My husband is 50, I am 36, but I met him 5 years ago. He was concerned, but I knew it wasn't a big deal.

Involve your parents in this and see what they think. That'll let him know that he needs to respect you, especially since daddy's little girl's daddy is hovering not far away from you.

BTW: My former boss is 29 and he's engaged to a 16 1/2 yr old. I say he's a pedophile, he and his guy friends say he's lucky. What do you think?

Good luck.

Yes! 99% of men are thinking about one thing. And I know alot of men who would love to be 29 and still be able to get an 18 yr old. Even if they weren't really interested its a great thing to be able to brag about to your buddies. Also, I know women mature faster than boys, but I can pretty much promise you two are in totally different levels. And if he's at the same one as you, he needs help and must be messed up. Because your young and should still be wanting to have fun and enjoy life. At 29, he should be wanting to start settling down.

You will be a vastly different person at 24 than you are at 18. The difference between 18 and 29 is huge. It's not uncrossable, but it is unlikely. I'd be worried if it was my daughter!

The difference between 18 and 29 is bigger than the difference between 28 and 60.

My lady is 10 1/2 years younger, it doesn't matter.

Age isn't as important. But you may want to ask yourself what you have in common. The age gap can create other issues -- as you both come from different age groups and hence perspectivies, life experiences, ways of thinking and doing, etc. You may want to ask yourself what he sees in you and what he wants from a relationship as well.

my friend is 18 and she just broke it off with a 31 year old. he dumped her for having "18" year old problems and wasn't being considerate. you might love him now, heck it might work out but the odds are against you. your in the socializing phase of his life while he is in the settling mode, starting a family and getting married. i would evaluate your love it sounds like lust of an older man.

Go for it. That's a perfect age gap. Love should have no boundaries where it pertains to age. If you love him and he loves you both would be foolish to pass this up.

Not if you're "wise beyond your years" and all that...otherwise 18 sounds like just a fun time to me!
