5. Goodness..Do only things that will help someone, not hinder

6. Gentleness..Be nice to all in word and deed

7. Humble Heart..Put others needs before that of our own

8. Forgiveness..Not hold a grudge, nor any anger toward anyone

9. Faith..Is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not yet seen

10. Eternity..Everlasting existence without anger and any hatred

4) you get to find out if there is an afterlife... in person!

1. Logical reasoning supports it.
2. No need to get up on Sunday mornings.
3. No need to feel guilty all the time for "sins".
4. No proof that God exists, I don't have to prove anything.
5. The Bible is full of inconsistencies.
6. I am able to not worry about the "end of time".
7. I don't have to preach about "Jesus" in order to do my duty
8. My viewpoint has scientific evidence to support it.

I could list reasons but they'd be superficial. The only reason to be either is because it makes sense to you.

Oh what the hell:

Atheist:
1. No guilt
2. Sleeping in instead of attending church, CCD, etc.
3. Sex (without guilt)
4. Participation in some of the 7 deadly sins (without guilt)
5. Thinking for yourself
6. Self-reliance
7. Rationalism
8. Realism
9. Masturbation
10. Birth Control!

1) We're not required to read a book throughout our lifetime
2) We can eat meat on any given day, even pork.
3) We can have sex and not worry about getting in trouble
4) We aren't required to sit bored for 2 hours while someone speaks loudly
5) There's no need for repentance
6) We can go to bars and drink and have a good time
7) We're very hospitable people, and nice too!
8) We don't require women to dress in skirts all day. Freeform dress code.
9) We can date anyone we want to

Each side can metaphorically swagger with each crushing remark that defeats the other. Each side can enjoy being absolutely certain about non-verifiable positions, knowing that proof on either side is impossible, so neither side can ever be "wrong."
