By a la carte I mean you agree to only pay for the channels you want, in addition to the local channels. Or do you like the system the way it is where ouy pay for a "package" of channels?

A la carte. I hate shopping channels and every basic cable package includes them whether you want them or not. Also, why force people without kids to get children's programming?

I'd prefer the a la carte channels. Over half the channels I have I dont watch.

A la Carte!! We get choices for just about everything else here in America! If we'd have choices then it would dictate what Hollywood puts out and probably raise the level of quality on t.v.

I'd MUCH prefer the a la carte system. The cable and dish companies are against it though.
