There are communities and colonies that some religions set up for themselves - Amish and Hutterites to illustrate of Christian ones. If a collection of Pagans had to social gathering and make their personal little community - purchase the land and such - there is not any reason they ought to not. i love the position i'm regardless of the anti-Pagan (or anti-some thing diverse) approach so it would not be for me - per chance to visit acquaintances - yet i recognize some who ought to extremely like any such component. (lower back interior the 60's and 70's they'd the communes - in many cases "hippies" and nature enthusiasts - ought to in all likelihood be the same component)

Wow! that sounds so fascinating! It would be nice to be in a magickal place like that! Not to mention the peaceful atmosphere the place will be filled with, and rid of the materialistic lifestyles we have now...
Thanks a lot for bringing such a place to word!... where is it?
Can people live there, or also just visit?

I'd be interested in such a place. With so many traditions under the umbrella of Paganism, it'd be a nice variety at least.

There is a Spiritualist colony. It's in New York somewhere, called Lily Dale.

Nope, its not a bad idea. Small communities within communities.
You are not that far off, and there are lots of them already out there, popping up all over the place.

Why sepatate yourself? Isn't more of a point proven by being integrated in society? Tolerance has to go both ways to be effective.

i think it sounds wonderful and if my husband would go for such a wonderful idea as well, i'd pack up and move there right now!!! However, I doubt that he'd go for it. But, just to check, is it in Colorado by chance?

great idea. (but you have to be able to deal with the morons out there who won't leave you be and will insist you are a colony of "witches, evil-doers, crazies" you know the scoop.) that's why there are so many solitaries out there. ..but hey it's a free country so i'd go for it :)

It's been tried in the past. They don't last long. Somehow they always want to destroy each other.
