Using your cable box remote control, turn the volume button all the way up. Then using your TV remote conbtrol, turn the volume up slightly above your normal listening level. Then back to your cable remote, turn your volume down to a comfortable level. This balances out the volume level for both the TV and the cable box.

We had this problem a few months ago where we got every channel but some of the channels didn't have volume. Turned out it WAS the cable company. I'd give them a call and tell them what's going on, they should be able to help you fix it over the phone.

right here is the wonderful thank you to do what you want: a million. connect your cable wall outlet to the cable container as prevalent. 2. connect the element output of the container (crimson-blue-green video plus crimson-white audio) to the element enter on the television. 3. connect the auxiliary RF output on the container (like an antenna jack) to the antenna enter of the VCR. connect the composite (yellow-crimson-white) output of the VCR to the composite (a.ok.a. "A-V") enter on the television. 4. turn on the VCR and the television, go with the A-V enter with the television's distant. raise the menu on the VCR, set its tuner to channel 3 and bypass away it there completely. on the television you're able to now see an analog version of despite channel is chosen on the cable container. in case you do no longer, replace the VCR to channel 4. it will be on one or the different. 5. To checklist something off the cable container, only set up the VCR timer in the prevalent way. only replace channels on the cable container. you may no longer checklist a channel in this way while you're observing a diverse one. bear in ideas that the VCR is strictly an analog gadget, so something you checklist would be in analog, no longer HD. 6. to observe cable channels in HD, only use the television's distant to alter its enter to the element jacks (see #2 above). in case you want, you may watch a application in HD together as that's being recorded on the VCR.

You shouldn't even use the tv's speakers at all. You should run the cable to a receiver. Add speakers and enjoy. They have a s load of cheap all in one home theater systems.
