You can only choice a faith that you feel in your heart is agreeable to your conscience. No matter how redeeming or comforting my religion is to me, you are a sovereign person and may react to another religion instead. I can tell you about my religion, but I can't make you feel what I feel. You can only do that on your own.

Stay the way you are! Please don't become religious. I felt the same way as you a few months ago, and I learned about a lot of religions because I wanted to find one that fit me. But none of them did. Eventually I figured out that the best way for me to be is atheist, so that's what I am. I was an atheist at first too, but I guess I just had to go on a journey threw a whole lot of religions to figure out that's what was best for me.
If you find yourself trying to force yourself to believe any part of a religion, even a small part, then it's not for you. I did this a lot while on my search, and obviously, it didn't work. The best thing for you to do is lay out what your beliefs are now, and then try to find a religion or spirituality close to that if you do decide to become religious. Or you can start your own religion or spirituality.
Remember though, religion causes war, and a whole lot of other crap!

I don't care much for "religion" as it is defined today. But I do know God, and He is great! When you finally get to the point of trusting Him with your life you get a REAL life. You become free of anxiety and fear. He suprises you almost every day with His very, very personal love for you in even the smallest and most simple things. And you begin to see how the God who created the universe loves you and ALWAYS keeps His promises to make event the worst situations you run into, or get stuck in, to work for your GOOD.
Rom 8:28-32
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
(from New International Version)

Well my religion is great. You don't have to give up your money for anything, you don't have to pray or attend a church, you don't have to follow any set morals written by dodgy characters (you can be free to decide for yourself what is wrong and right), you can live your life without worrying about a character you or anyone else on the planet has ever seen. You don't have to go around forcing others to join you, you don't have to believe or burn.
It's called Athiesm. And if you join today, you'll recieve a free signed "Not a Lefty" poster!

You should look into the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm not going to try to convert you or anything like that. I'm just gonna lay out the facts and lead you to a site for you to see for yourself.
First of all, Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs are solely and completely based on the Bible. If you are looking for a religion that does not go by man-made doctrines, but goes by God's word, then the witnesses can help you with that.
Second, one will be willing to come to your home, or any place convenient for you, and study the Bible with you for FREE! Not like some religions which make you pay a tithe or anyghing.
Third,...well, third, it's completely up to you! But really, I would like for you to go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for a Sunday service (or any day of the week most likely) and just listen to the service. I'm sure someone will walk up to you and speak and ask you if you would like to learn more on your own time.
If not, please post another message, and I would personally see to it that someone does.
I hope this has helped you.
And please check out the source links below. I'm sure you'll enjoy!

I am LDS, or Mormon as some would say. Our churches full name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have a lot of beliefs that I don't want to just tell you. I'm posting a site so you can do your own research and learn for yourself. I know most people regard us as a cult, or that we aren't christian. This site will answer all your questions about that, and explain what our main beliefs are. They can be summed up in what we call the Thirteen articles of Faith. Here they are, in order, so you can read them and then look at the site for further questions.
1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon this the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
I'm not trying to convert you, but if you are interested in further detail, there is a place on the site where you can leave your name and number and a missionary of our church will contact you.
