The devil walks the earth every day. He is influencing the souls of people who are idle as to say. They have no sort of religious beliefs, whatever they may be. He is tempting us to think bad thoughts about those who are mean to us. He wants us to fight back when a loved one starts arguing. He basically uses people to breed hate inside you; he wants to do this so that you will no longer be closer to God. If you aren't close to God he is happy. You can cast him away if you are frightened or angry or anxious. I just tell him that I love God and he needs to leave me alone. Sometimes I have to concentrate on this for a few minutes but I always feel better after that and the situation is not near as bad as it was at first.

I don't think that he walked the earth as I find it very hard to believe in the devil. Normally the word evil can be changed for ignorance.
Interesting though that the opposite of :
Devil........Lived
Evil........Live
So if you lived a live life, perhaps you avoid devil etc.

nope, the Devil was invented as a mechanism to frighten people into doing what the Church wanted. "Do this or you'll go to Hell." "Don't do this or the Devil will get you." In fact the pictures of the Devil that we know and accept today are pieced together from gods of other cultures who'd been worshipped for ages and never had any "evil" connotations.
Human beings have enough evil within them without needing a Devil to help them out.

I saw the devil in female form. I looked away for a split second, then I looked back and she was gone. No human being could have moved that fast.

well, if you believe in the devil, you most likely believe in the bible. the bible says he roamed the earth.

Job 1:6

6 One day the angels [a] came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan [b] also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"
Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."
