You can't have a "true" relationship unless you DO put your heart on the line. You're just fooling yourself if you think other wise.

In all honesty, I really only have once. And I got my heart ripped out. I've been in several serious relationships where the guy was ring shopping, but my heart just hadn't opened all the doors yet. Not to say I wouldn't have, but they weren't. So it didn't end with good results. Relationships are hard. You want to give it your all and fully open up, but its terrifying that your going to get hurt. And when you do, it hurts so bad that you can't breathe. I always try to, but it doesn't usually happen. I just figure when its the right guy, I won't have to try, it just will.
