Newsflash for the chick who said don't buy a puppy from a website: I found a litter through the AKC site and guess what? It was a backyard breeder. Even the AKC can't and doesn't police backyard breeders. BTW-I bought one of those dreadful backyard breeder puppies, love her with all my heart & will likely seek out that breeder again.
That being said-I would highly recommend the AKC site. Also search for boxer clubs in your local area. Boxers are wonderful additions to just about any family!
Good luck!

Never buy a dog off a website, unless you can and have personally visited the site where the dog is kept, have seen both parents, and the health test records of the parents.
Yeah, you can buy from a backyard breeder and get a dog that you love with all your heart, but that won't change the hip displaysia that your puppy has inherited from her untested parents. Backyard breeders are in it for the money and don't take the time to test their dogs genetic health. Hips, eyes, and elbows are very important and need to be tested, and both parents should be OFA certified.
If the breeder refuses to let you see the parents and/or their health records, don't buy from them. They clearly know that they are breeding unhealthy dogs, and the cost will be passed to you in the form of expensive vet bills for your puppy.
Now, you CAN use websites to find breeders. But again, you should be able to physically visit the breeder and see the parents and their health records. Never just buy a puppy straight off a website.
And remember, AKC registration guarantees NOTHING about the health of the puppy. It simply shows that it is a purebred puppy from purebred parents. Many puppy mill and backyard breeder puppies have AKC registration, but horrendous health.
www.petfinder.com is a great place to find dogs that are available in humane societies and rescue groups near you. They have older dogs, and puppies, mixes and purebreds. Just search for the dog you want, and there will be one.

You can try the AKC and/or Boxers of America websights. All breeders have to list with the AKC, AKC Vets, and must meet 95 out of 100 requirements before being aloud to breed with this recommendation. BUT BEWARE, you will pay the price for a register boxer.

Try some of your local breeders. If not there are many Boxer Rescue sites that offer puppies.

Please don't buy online. Look in the local paper, and ask a neighborhood vet, don't buy it site unseen or as we say, licks ungotten. Ummm there have been a lot of problems with online breeders selling bad pups or scamming $$ or sending the wrong pup! I know not everyone is bad, but a few bad apples spoil it for everyone and then the reputations get afoul. Sorry

Go to a boxer rescue...they will have puppies that need homes too. Any Pet store or shelter will have listings for breed specific rescues.

You can look on nextdaypets.com, however I would strongly suggest trying to find one locally. I just went through the same search for my boxer, and almost went through a website. Then after doing more research, i decided to just look locally for breeders, rescues, etc. This way you can really see what you are getting, see the parents, where it was raised, etc.
