When I repainted my house, I didn't want to "ruin" the paint job by re-hanging all my art & pictures. I used the 3M removable hooks. They really do work. No paint came off the wall & they don't leave a residue. Just make sure you by the correct ones for the weight of your picture.

If there is crown moulding, they make hooks that can attach to certain types of it, and you can use thin wire to hang them from. Ive done that before. Otherwise, use small picture hanger nails, and be prepared to spackle when you are moving out. It is really easy if the walls are white, but getting paint that is close enough to match a filled nail hole shouldn't be too much of a challenge either.
It is easier to fill a nail hole than it is to get tape residue off the walls without tearing off the paint with it. If the tape doesn't tear the paint off, I wouldn't trust it to hold a framed (especially glass!) picture.

As Retropink has stated, they make a product for your application called 3m Command that doesn't require nailing or screwing anything to your wall. They are sized in accordance to the weight that they will carry. My wife loves these things and I do too because I don;t have to touchup paint. They come off cleanly yet hold strong.

well depending on how big each of the frames are and how much they weigh, you could use these plastic adhesive hooks
they usually come in white hooks and you just peel off the adhesive and stick it on the wall. they're actually very durable, but if you feel the need, you can use two
i have a framed signed poster in my room, and i didnt want to ruin the wall, so i used three of these hooks. they require a little effort to take them off, but atleast theres no hole in the wall haha.
hope this helps you out.

you could spot check one of those 3M "removable" hooks on the inside of a closet to see if it really will come off the wall without damaging the painted surface. if this works, get a picture hanging kit that includes wires and go to town! if it doesn't work, you may be able to use museum putty (a sticky clay-like substance) to hang the lighter ones, but otherwise you are out of luck.
