Are you only suppose to use your left hand when you cut the deck, for tarot?

When you are reading for a friend, do they do the shuffling and cut the deck?Also, how do the cards end up reversed?

If you are one of those people who have problems with others different beliefs(like diff. religion, or spirituality)than don't f***ing answer. How insecure you must be.

People have conflicting opinions about this. I don't think it matters which hand you cut the deck with. If you are reading for a friend, let them shuffle the deck and then cut the cards toward themselves if it's a question about them, or away from themselves if they're asking a question for another person. That's how I as taught anyway. I personally don't use reverse meanings in my readings. Cards are either positive or negative depending on where they are in spread (sentence). That's just how I learned, too. So I don't know much about the reversal bit.

I would suggest going to the New Age or Metaphysical section of your local bookstore and finding some books about the topic there. That would probably be your most comprehensive resource and much more practicle than just asking it here. They usually have a Tarot section you can check out.

You can shuffle while they talk about what's on their mind, and they cut the deck; or you can shuffle and they cut the deck.

Cards being reversed is a natural part of shuffling and gives the cards a different meaning, usually the opposite of the cards' normal meanings. This would also be covered more in depth in a book.

I was taught that you and you only touch the cards because anyone else touching them can taint them. You should only put your energies into them. Also, whatever way you like to shuffle and draw your deck you should just do exactly the same way everytime. They should be reversed with the way you shuffle the deck.

i dont go in for all that superstition about cutting it not cutting it how to cut it
i shuffle and deal...
the person reading is you , your take on the cards and your intuition
you can deal one card for someone and the same card for someone else.... and if using your intuition have very very different readings
just go with your instinct , do your own thing whatever you are comfortable with xx

Try playing strip poker.

You'll find it more enjoyable than playing mumbo jumbo cards who can't tell you anything that you want to know unless you make it up.
